The Young Guns have had a great 2010 so far as they
have taking part on the annual Kerrang Tour which
takes place every January, they have also played
various sold out headline shows across the country
and supported many great bands such as The Lostprophets
and now they are gearing up to release their debut
album ‘All Our Kings Are Dead’ on the
12th July but in the meantime they are releasing
their new single ‘Crystal Clear’.
‘Crystal Clear’ is a song which perfectly
shows how Young Guns have progressed since the
release of their debut EP ‘Mirrors’
which we happened to rate really highly when reviewed
back in the summer of 2009, the song is best played
as loud as possible so you can hear the full effect
of front man Gustav Wood’s powerful vocals
as well as the crunching guitar riffs and general
arena rock sounds, the chorus is catchy and the
rest of the song is rocking.
As soon as ‘All Our Kings Are Dead’
is released things are going to hot up even more
for Young Guns and I feel that ‘Crystal
Clear’ is the perfect song to be released
to give the fans a slight taster of what to expect
in a couple of weeks when the album is released.
5/5
