As far as drum and bass and dance music goes, Losers
actually do tickle my fancy and that is a big old
positive thing as this style of music really is
my worst nightmare at the best of times, but the
double team of Eddy Temple Morris and Tome Bellamy
have some charm and style within their music.
The debut single from Losers was the repetitive
yet extremely enjoyable ‘No man Is An Island’
it was a good starting point for getting in to
the band but their latest single ‘Flush’
sees the band take things to the max and it’s
all down to the fact that Riz MC And Envy are
featured on the song with their sharp rhyming
vocals which adds major charm to the song. Once
again the single features many remixes and this
time around it happens to be the extreme number
of 7 which is actually too much for me to handle
but I’m sure someone out their will appreciate
each and every remix.
Everything from the dirty beats to the catchy
vocals of ‘Flush’ work well and has
left me wanting more new songs from these guys.
4/5
