Alberta Cross are set to release their new single
‘Old Man Chicago’ on the 8th March,
the song is taken from the band’s debut album
‘Broken Side Of Time’, and is another
fantastic single to sit nicely alongside their previous
singles ‘ATX’ and ‘Taking Control’.
‘Old Man Chicago’ is vocally a massive
song as Petter Ericson Stakee puts everything
into his vocal duties and the result is breathtaking,
the song sounds like a country rock song that
is big, upbeat and extremely listenable, it’s
what I have come to love from Alberta Cross and
at the moment they can’t do anything wrong.
Overall Alberta Cross have a sound that fits
a wide variety of music genres and a wide range
of music lovers will enjoy their sound and the
good thing about Alberta Cross is they have that
stadium rock sound which helps them support massive
bands such as Oasis and Dave Mathews Band at massive
arenas and they go off out and do their own headline
show’s at the toilet sized venues across
the country now that is a good position to be
in where you can play at both ends of the spectrum,
however it won’t be long before Alberta
Cross move out of the toilet sized venues and
into the Academy sized venues for their own headline
shows.
