Stretch Arm Strong are a five piece punk band hailing from South Carolina,
who have spent over a decade building a following in the underground scene.
Now they have put their all into "Free At Last" and made the
best album of their career. One of the best punk albums I have heard in
a long time.
The album opens with 'The Hardest Part', which starts off with screaming.
The song is very aggressive with a good sing along chorus. 'Hearts Of
Fire' is another class song with great lyrics. A good sing along track
with shouting vocals at the end.
Track number four; 'The Sound Of Names Dropping'; is totally different
than all the other tracks on the album. It completely stands out. It's
a very rocky song with screamo vocals and a catchy chorus.
My personal favourite track is 'Landslide' which just stands out; it's
the most catchy song on the album.
'Free At Last' finishes with 'A Time For Peace' which is a really mellow
song and a good finish to the cd.
Over all, I cant find a fault with this album. Its stunning from start
to finish and will gain the band a lot of fans and hopefully put them
where they want to be.
