Eight Legs are due to release their new single ‘Best
Of Me’ on the 15th February and I think the
release of the single and the mini UK tour to coincide
with the single release are going to help Eight
Legs go on to bigger and better things within the
music industry.
‘Best Of Me’ is an fantastic upbeat
ska/punk/rock song that is going to have you dancing
your socks off to the catchy grooves and bouncy
basslines, the song tales a tale of paranoia,
isolation and the sense of something lurking around
the corners of life that is out to get us all,
yes the theme of the song sounds spooky but the
actual music is far from being spooky as it is
an real upbeat song that deserves to be released
in the peak of the summer so you can fully enjoy
the upbeat grooves with a pint of cider in the
sun whilst skanking along.
The b-side to the song is a remix of the bands
previous single ‘I Understand’, the
song is psychedelic sounding with a bit of a Stone
Roses and Ian Brown feel about it; it’s
good but lacks the excitement from the main single.
2010 could well be an exciting year for Eight
Legs as they are starting on a high with the release
of ‘Best Of Me’ and their upcoming
tour, I for sure will be keeping my eyes peeled
for more from these guys.
4/5
