What a way to start the new year by listening to
the new single by Sub Focus called ‘Could
This Be Real’ the song has the sound of a
massive dance floor anthem, one that could very
well still be ringing around in your ears from your
new year celebrations.
‘Could This Be Real’ opens with an
uplifting piano riff which sets the pace and drives
the song throughout, the vocals come in smooth
and soulful sounding whilst the track turns into
a dirty piece of infectious bass-lines and repetitive
beats which you can’t help but shake your
arse on your local smoke filled dance floor, the
song has a proper retro feel about it and it will
take you right back to the 1990’s when dance
music was at its best.
The single release of ‘Could This Be Real’
also features 5 different remix versions, now
I’m not sure why groups and artists decide
to bundle there singles with so many remix versions
these days because to be honest who is really
interested in the remix versions apart from a
DJ geek who likes to hear every single beat from
every single version of a song.
Overall ‘Could This Be Real’ is a
song which you will be hearing in your locals
clubs over the next few months, and it’s
not bad but it is something that we have heard
be done so many times before.
