GraVil are a two piece band from London, made up
of Gra on Vocals and Vil who does pretty much everything
else from Guitars to Drums and even Keyboard work,
obviously when the band tour they take out additional
members as if Vil did live what he does on record
then he would be a very rich and talented man playing
all those instruments at once.
The best way to describe the sound of GraVil
is Cradle Of Filth mixed with Children Of Bodom
and The Black Dahlia Murder, with their Dani Filth
style vocals, Children Of Bodom style keyboard
work and the heaviness of The Black Dahlia Murder
and this is perfectly seen in their brand new
single ‘March Of The Titans’.
‘March Of The Titans’ is not actually
due for release until the 1st February 2010 but
we have a review copy already and have to say
that the song is outstanding and is going to pave
the way for an incredible 2010 for GraVil as their
talent shines throughout the full 4minutes and
17seconds of ‘March Of The Titans’,
the song is full on brutal thrash metal, if you
are a metal head at heart it is going to leave
you very pleased and at the same time very battered
and bruised from the shear aggressiveness surrounding
the record.
Overall ‘March Of The Titans’ is
a massive rollercoaster ride of a song with some
massive highs, exciting guitar riffs, rough vocals
and a big old polished feel that leaves you wanting
to hear more.
5/5
