The Black Soul Strangers are an four piece Irish
band that are based in Ireland, and they are releasing
their new single ‘Lies’ on the 30th
November through Squeek Records, the single is taking
from their forthcoming debut album ‘Animate’
which is due to be released next year and it has
left me with good first impressions on the band.
‘Lies’ is a big indie song that has
razor-sharp guitar riffs and really good melodies,
the has a catchy edge to help it stick out from
the current crop of big indie song’s that
are forever hitting the air-waves, you will find
yourself singing or should I say chanting along
to the catchy chorus, overall the song is solid
sounding and played full of energy.
So far I like what I have heard of Black Soul
Strangers and am really looking forward to seeing
what the future holds for these guys.
4/5
