Lilly Allen is two weeks away from starting her
biggest ever UK tour which see’s her play
three nights at Brixton Academy in London and various
other massive venues along the way and she couldn’t
of picked a better time to release a new single,
that single is ‘Who’d Have Known’
and it coincides pretty well with her forthcoming
tour.
‘Who’d Have Known’ starts off
with a near spoken word piece from Lilly saying
“It’s five o clock in the morning,
conversation got boring, you said you were going
to bed soon, so I snook of to your bedroom, I
thought I would just wait there until I heard
you come up the stairs, I was pretending I was
sleeping, hoping you would creep in with me”,
the song quickly builds up and becomes really
upbeat and melodic for the hip shaking chorus,
lyrically the song is well written and is about
the dealings of a relationship.
Your mind should be made up now on if you like
or dislike Lily Allen, this song is not going
to change your mind what-so-ever so if you like
her then you know you need to go and buy this
song and if you dislike her then you might as
well jog on.
4/5
