Ben Lee Tyler is a 22 year old singer songwriter from the UK and is due
to release his single 'Not My Fault' on the 13th November. The single is
from his forthcoming debut album; 'Dreamweavers Town'. Ben Lee Tyler has
an indie rock sound with hints of the Counting Crows and Crowded House in
places.
I first heard of Ben Lee Tyler about six months back when I got a myspace
request from him which I accepted but never followed up with checking
his music out simply because so many bands and artists add you on myspace
claming to be the next big thing but end up being pretty average. I have
now realised its sometimes worth checking out some of them random band
requests as Ben Lee Tyler is a talented man.
His debut single 'Not My Fault' is an up tempo indie/rock song with wonderful
vocals and a really catchy chorus that is beautifully sung. The b-side
to the single is an acoustic song titled 'Hate My Name' in which his vocals
totally shine on.
The man is talented and I’m sure 2007 could be a big year for Ben
Lee Tyler if his debut album 'Dreameavers Town' gets the praise and recognition
it deserves.
