Hailing from Surrey, All Forgotten are one of those
bands that infuse You Me At Six-style melodies with
crushing guitars, and whilst this may not be completely
original, it definitely works.
Their new EP entitled ‘Transitions’
is an excellent showcase of the potential of this
band. It may not be enough to project them to
the dizzy heights and chart success of the aforementioned
just yet, but it shows true promise, and proves
they are definitely a band to get excited about.
Songs such as ‘One Day We’ll Fly
Again’ and ‘Thorne In My Side’
are perfect examples of just how good this band
are, with the latter bringing the EP to an unfortunately
premature close.
Chock full of pounding drums, huge guitar riffs,
gang vocals and melodic vocals, All Forgotten
have offered five songs that simultaneously punch
you in the gut whilst sweetly serenading. All
Forgotten could quite easily tap into the market
that appeals to fans of We Are The Ocean and Canadian
heavyweights Alexisonfire.
5/5
