Richard Walters is an Oxford-born solo singer songwriter,
based in
Paris. He gently sings his tales over guitar and
piano tracks which are
also played by the man himself.
It's a beautifully delicate song that effortlessly
floats along, with
the vocals gracefully sliding in and out of falcetto.
It's sit back and
relax music, letting Walters' soothing voice wash
over you. It
encourages you to drift off and think about, well,
anything really. I
have, more than once, started to listen to the
song and subsequently
lost myself in my own personal thoughts on something
else. Having to
stop and restart the song to actually listen.
And every time it ends,
you feel compelled to play it, just once more.
It's a winner.
And apparently /The Guardian/ love him too.
5/5
